Software How To 軟體指引: Install Joomla with XAMPP 使用 XAMPP 安裝 Joomla

Joomla is a powerful CMS system and XAMPP is a easy-build software for Apache, PHP and MySQL.
This guide is using Joomla 2.5.3 and poratable XAMPP 1.7.7.

Joomla 是一套強大的內容管理系統，而 XAMPP 是包含 Apache, PHP 和 MySQL 的整合軟體。
本教程採用 Joomla 2.5.3 以及免安全版的 XAMPP 1.7.7。

Step 1. Download portable XAMPP 1.7.7 for windows.
步驟一. 下載免安裝及適用 Windows 的 XAMPP 1.7..7 。

Step 2. unzip XAMPP and launch setup_xampp.
步驟二. 解壓縮 XAMPP 並執行 setup_xampp。

If XAMPP installed successfully ,you can see below message.
如果 XAMPP 安裝成功的話，可以看到以下視窗訊息。

Step 3. launch xampp-control
步驟三. 執行 xampp-control

Step 4. click Start button for Apache and MySql.
步驟四. 按下 Apache 和 MySQL 的 Start 按鈕。

Step 5. Type http://127.0.0.1/ in browser address to make sure XAMPP works.
步驟五. 輸入 http://127.0.0.1/ 確認 XAMPP 已正常運作。

Step 6. Download Joomla 2.5.3 and unzip it to XAMPP htdocs directory like this:
步驟六. 下載 Joomla 2.5.3 後解壓縮放在 XAMPP 下的 htdocs 目錄。

Step 7. Type http://127.0.0.1/Joomla/installation in browser address.
Select language and click Next button.
步驟七. 在瀏覽器輸輸入 http://127.0.0.1/Joomla/installation。
選擇語言並按下 Next 按鈕。

p.s. If you using an older browser like IE 6, you may get error and cannot click Next button to install.
Please update IE 7 or try to download the latest Joomla.

註. 如果使用較舊的瀏覽器如 IE 6，有可能會遇到錯誤訊息而無法繼續安裝。
請使用 IE 7 或是試著下載最新的 Joomla。

Step 8. make sure every check item is OK and click Next button.
步驟八. 確認每個確認項目都是 OK 後按下 Next 按鈕。

Step 9. click Next button.
步驟九. 按下 Next 按鈕。

Step 10. input database settings then click Next button.
步驟十. 輸入資料庫的各項設定後按下 Next 按鈕。

Step 11. FTP configuration is optional, you can skip it.
步驟11. FTP 的設定可以略過。

Step 12. input main configuration settings and click Next button.
p.s.the Admin username and password here is used to enter Joomla administrator console.

步驟十二. 輸入主要的設定後並按下 Next 按鈕。
註. 此頁的 Admin username 及 password 是日後進入 Joomla 管理介面的帳號密碼。
